Beijing Badaling Skiing Field lies approximately 2 km away to the west of Badaling Great Wall, with total area of 3 million m2 and estimated RMB 300 million investment. First phase of the project is to built up two 800-meter-long primary slideways, two 600-meter-long secondary slide-ways, and one 800-meter-long and 120-meter-fall advanced slide-way, together with one 2,300-meter-long snow roadway for motorcycles, which may be currently the longest one in Beijing, and two 300-meter-long snow roadway for sliding “carts”. Each road has its own features, showing magnificent scenery of “mountain dancing with silver snakes” and specific pleasure of gallop rhythm.
